AKROTIRI (1) has won at both starts this campaign, the latest by one length over 2213m at Gold Coast. Has scope for improvement so he looks the testing material. LA COMETA (7) finished seventh two runs back at Ipswich then improved last time out to score by 1.3 lengths as public elect over 1800m at this track. Steps up a level but she is up to the task. BESTOWER (6) had been racing well prior to finishing 4 lengths back in fifth over 2213m at Gold Coast. Gets her chance to show her best. THE RIGHT WAY (4) is close to a win after a string of minor placings, the latest when third over 2200m at Ipswich. Well placed and will be thereabouts again.
