Will prove hard to hold out. PASIMA (9) is resuming from a spell of five-and-a-half months and having his first run for the Gillian Heinrich yard. Was in the placings when first-up from a spell last campaign at Warwick Farm over 1200m. Fitter for a minor placing in a recent Gold Coast trial. Likely to play a major role. ITALIAN RIVIERA (4) is having his first run since November 30. Goes very well when fresh with two wins from two starts, the latest over 1400m at this track at the start of last prep. Has ability and should be right in the finish. LOOSE UNIT (7) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at this track, finishing third and only half a length from the winner at the end of 1400m. Sure to be in the mix.
