JAGGERY (6) was out of the money when resuming from a spell last start over 1000m at Eagle Farm, beaten 3 lengths. Finds the right race this time and can find winning form. PRESTAR (16) is a talented colt who tackled a tougher race at his last run on November 5 and finished ninth behind Tycoon Star over 1000m in the G3 Maribyrnong Plate at Flemington. Treat the removal of blinkers this prep as a positive sign. VAREJAO (13) was in contention on the turn and finished second last time over 1000m at Sunshine Coast Poly, beaten half a length. Ready to go one better. FIRST EMPIRE (4) is on debut. By Deep Field and hails from the Kelly Schweida stable. Comes here off a Doomben trial. Worth watching for a betting push.
