SOCIALLY RED (12) finished off last campaign with a fourth over 1000m at Bendigo on October 6 and has since switched trainers. Generally runs well when fresh, recording two minor placings from three runs. One of the main contenders. MAJOR LOOK (3) is yet to break through in 10 runs but has been thereabouts. Placed two back then was 1.5 lengths away in fifth over 1300m at Hawkesbury last time. Great chance to break through. SPRING BIRD (13) has switched yards since finishing sixth four weeks ago over 1000m at this track. Can make her presence felt. EL QUINTO (9) raced on the pace last start before fading to finish sixth, beaten 4.5 lengths, over 1200m at Toowoomba. Can do much better.
