Will take a lot from that hit-out and looks a strong chance to break through. ALESUND (1) is yet to break through after 12 starts but not far off a win. Placed two back then missed the frame but was thereabouts last time over 1100m at Sale. Solid top-three chance. DUCKIE (7) is back after a break of eight months. At the last run before the layoff she finished seventh over 1450m at Tatura. Looks ready to run following a minor placing in a recent Cranbourne trial. Has ability so don't underestimate.
