CURRUMBIN ALLEY (2) was well in the market on debut last time out and ran well but found one better over 1250m at Gunnedah. Open to improvement and looks a serious contender. LOUISBURGH (1) raced on the speed last start and battled on well but found one better over 1200m at Gosford. Can improve enough to win this. BACKWARD GLANCE (9) is struggling to break through but has been around the mark lately, last start finishing fourth over 1500m at Newcastle. Must be respected. OMAHA SAND (5) returns after six months in the paddock. Closed the last campaign with a seventh over 1200m at Beaumont (Newcastle). Has trialled three times leading into this. Can kick off with a bold showing.
