QUELLO DORATO (2) returned from a spell three weeks ago when he was beaten 4 lengths into sixth over 1200m at Geelong. Fitter this time. Hard to beat in this suitable race. FLOWERDALE (6) made an encouraging debut last time out, finishing 1.2 lengths from the winner in fourth over 1200m at Seymour. Open to improvement and looks a serious contender. SMARTICON (3) is back from a 43 day freshen-up following a second at Moe last time. Looks to be ticking along well with a recent trial win. Blinkers added; should be competitive. WOLLEMIA ANGEL (9) went forward from the low draw last time and stalked the lead before fading to finish tenth over 1400m at Cranbourne. Not to be underestimated.
TIPS
