Likely improver with strong prospects. CRAFTY EAGLE (8) finished out of the money when fresh from a spell two starts back then he settled well back and was beaten 5.5 lengths when fifth over 1200m at this track two weeks ago. Nicely placed to get the prize. KING OF ROSEAU (5) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with only one victory from 15 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when 11th over 1400m at Randwick, beaten 18 lengths. Hard to beat in this suitable race. VAIL MOUNTAIN (13) showed good early dash and raced on the speed last start before fading to finish 0.8 lengths back in fourth over 1300m at Sandown-Hillside. Can feature in the finish.
