SAPLING (10) got off the mark over 1300m at Wyong last start, scoring by 1.75 lengths. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Big chance to go back-to-back. SPICE PRAWN (11) is a maiden galloper resuming today after a spell of four months. Closed last campaign with a sixth over 1100m at Randwick Kensington, beaten 1.75 lengths. Fitter for a recent trial win. Should be involved in the finish. I SHOW SPEED (4) showed good early speed over 1080m at Canberra Acton on debut last start and went on to salute by 1.5 lengths. Will find this much tougher but must be respected.
