KAI MONDO (5) registered a strong win at this track two runs ago. Not disgraced last time out when prominent at the corner before finishing second over 1100m at this track, beaten 0.9 lengths. Looks well placed so expect a better run this time. OBLIGATED (1) resumed over 1200m at Mackay last start and was too good for his rivals, scoring by 0.6 lengths. Will be better for that latest run and is expected to run well again. FLYING ANIMO (6) went forward and proved too strong on debut last start, scoring with 2.75 lengths to spare over 1000m at Townsville. Sure to be competitive. SCRUB CHAIN (2) comes here off a break of 11 weeks. Scored over 1200m at this track at the start of last prep. Makes plenty of appeal.
