PRECISE TORQUE (1) made an encouraging debut last time out, finishing 2.25 lengths from the winner in second over 1000m at Sunshine Coast Poly. Will be very hard to beat with that run under the belt. BITTER SPIRIT (2) finished 1.5 lengths away in second last time out at Mackay. On a eight-day back-up. Strong run last time and will be hard to beat. SHEZA ALIBI (7) produced a nice effort on debut in better company last start over 1100m at this track when second, beaten 2.75 lengths. Likely improver so she can feature again. VALUBIOUS (8) is a two-start maiden who resumed from a spell last start and was beaten 8 lengths when sixth over 1000m at Dalby. Bold showing expected with added fitness this time.
