Should be poised just off the lead. Best figures should see him run well. SCARLET OAK (12) is a talented mare who was well held last time out in the tougher Emancipation Stakes won by Lekvarte over 1500m at Rosehill, beaten 6 lengths into tenth. Big chance in this class. NEW ENDEAVOUR (6) is ticking along okay with two runs this time in. Improved last time out when second, beaten 1.2 lengths, in the G3 Doncaster Prelude at Rosehill over 1500m. Has good early toe so he should be handy in the run. Not to be discounted.
