GITALONG (6) raced on the speed last time and finished second over 1000m at Cranbourne, the second minor placing from as many runs this prep. Ready to peak. WINNING PROPOSAL (10) showed little early speed last start and failed to come on in the straight when seventh, beaten 4 lengths, over 1000m at this track. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time. RANTAN (13) was out of the money when resuming from a spell last start over 1000m at Gosford, beaten 2.75 lengths. Strips fitter and should be thereabouts.
