OUTCAST SOLDIER (12) finished second at Dubbo two runs back but was less effective last time over 1400m at Parkes, finishing 10 lengths back in 12th. Finds the right race this time and can bounce back. WRITTEN LEGACY (4) is returning from a spell of 11 months. Finished fifth at Grafton over 1106m at the first run last prep. Now with a new trainer Holly Williams. Fitter for a seventh in a recent trial over 1000m at Doomben. A solid return is anticipated. HELEN'S CROWN (8) did very well to fill a minor placing when resuming at Narromine but raced below expectations last time over 1100m at Wellington, finishing seventh and beaten 6 lengths. Has the class to produce a better result. QUI ROUGE (5) has been in the betting at both starts but hasn't managed to live up to market expectations. Most recently finished eighth over 1000m at Taree, beaten 8 lengths. Sure to be about the mark.
