CASHAWAY GOLD (3) went forward and proved too strong when resuming last time out, scoring by 4.5 lengths over 1000m at Port Macquarie. Looks well placed so expect another big run. HOLLYWOOD GOLD (2) has not been sighted since he scored over 1100m at this track on October 28. Is lightly raced and looks forward enough after a solid recent trial. Hard to go past. ATOKA (9) got off the mark over 1100m at Armidale last start, scoring by a nose. Shannen Llewellyn was in the saddle on that occasion and retains the ride. One of the likely contenders despite the step up in grade. SORRENTO PALACE (7) was second up last start and went close, beaten a nose into second at Dubbo over 1000m. Should be ready to find peak form.
