OAKFIELD EARTH (13) stepped out on her debut over 1300m at Newcastle two-and-a-half weeks ago and finished sixth, beaten 3 lengths. Better for the run and can improve sharply. BOUZY'S BABE (9) was beaten just a nose last start when second in a small field over 1300m at Narromine on a heavy surface. Will be fitter for that run, can go on to win today. PATHELIA (14) is still a maiden despite putting together back to back placings, the latest over 2200m at Dubbo. Back-marker who keeps coming. Will be picking them up late. SKIT 'N' SKAT (6) is a four-start maiden who resumed from a spell last start and was beaten 5 lengths when eighth over 1400m at Armidale. Bold showing expected with added fitness this time.
