EXCEEDINGLY HOT (1) booted up from the inside draw to lead last start and was there until straightening when beaten half a length into fourth over 1600m at Wagga. Will take catching again. THE PREDICTOR (6) was sent out favourite but could only finish fourth over 1500m at Goulburn last time. Prior to that had been racing well, collecting two minor placings on end. Watch for a much better run. JULIETTE'S JOY (7) has filled a minor placing at both runs this time in work, working home in good style at the most recent outing to finish third over 1460m at this track. Cannot be overlooked. CASANOVA (2) turned in a modest performance when 14th last time out over 1600m at Hawkesbury, beaten 9 lengths, after a win at Hawkesbury at the previous outing. Best figures measure up so deserves another chance.
