MERAPI (3) was returning from a break last time out and proved too classy, scoring by 1.2 lengths over 1210m at this track. Open to plenty of improvement and will be a tough nut to crack again. UNINSURABAL (8) drifted well back and failed to finish it off last start when eighth, beaten 14 lengths, over 1624m at Taree. Finds a nice race and can figure in the finish. UNCLE MOONLIGHT (2) turned in a decent effort last start when he did his best work late to finish second over 1200m at Tuncurry. Has the ability to build on that encouraging effort last start. GOLDEN BREEZE (9) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at Taree, finishing third and only 1.2 lengths from the winner at the end of 1270m. Looks well placed so expect a bold display.
