MANGIFERA (7) registered her first win when resuming last start over 1200m at this track, getting home by 1.4 lengths. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Lucy Fiore was in the saddle on that occasion and retains the ride. Big chance to go back-to-back. PATRON EXPRESS (1) is a talented gelding who tackled a tougher race at his last run on November 23 and finished seventh behind Storyville over 1600m in the G2 WA Guineas at Ascot. Will drift back but wind up late. Will prove tough to beat. PROCESSIO (8) finished off last campaign with a eighth over 1400m at Bunbury on December 8 and has since switched stables. Ran sixth in a trial at Belmont Park over 1000m. Generally runs well when fresh, recording two minor placings from three runs. One of the primary contenders. SANCTIONS (4) ran a better race last start to finish a close second over 1100m at Ascot after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Another forward showing is anticipated.
