BYWATERS ROAD (6) was prominent from the outset and fought on for second last start over 1600m at Strathalbyn, making it two minor placings in a row. Drawn for a nice run just off the speed. Will enjoy a drop in class so he is one of the main contenders. HARD LEAF (7) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at Mt Gambier, finishing second and only a nose from the winner at the end of 1550m after being prominent at the corner. Finds a suitable race and can play a major role. AND SHE WAS (5) finished third two runs back at Donald then improved last time out to score by a head over 1400m at Echuca. Chelsea Jokic scored on her last time and retains the ride. Won't find this as tough so she is a big chance to go back-to-back. MY MATE COBBER (4) could only manage seventh two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1396m at Port Augusta, beaten just 2 lengths. Best efforts measure up so capable of another big run.
