TRACK PATCHER (9) has been out of the placings in two runs since a break, the latest when fifth, beaten 4 lengths, over 1600m at Seymour after he travelled towards the rear of the field. Has further improvement to come and looks the main danger. EDZEL (7) finished seventh over 1600m at Bendigo when resuming last start, beaten only 1.5 lengths. Strips fitter and can turn things around.
