Sharpened for this with a placing in a recent trial. Key runner. ELVIRA STAR (6) was in a rearwards position on the turn last time out before finishing 4.5 lengths from the winner in fifth over 1000m at Ascot. This looks a nice race so expect her to be right in the finish. SANSANEE (3) is a 14-start maiden who finished fourth at her most recent outing over 1230m at Albany. Solid top-three chance on her best figures. OFFSHORE (8) finished fifth over 1200m at Pinjarra when resuming last start, beaten only 1.4 lengths. Likely improver with top-three prospects.
