DER BLAUE REITER (4) showed good early speed and led into the straight before fading to finish fifth, beaten 4 lengths, over 1000m at Wagga. Well-placed and expected to feature. YES MA (9) resumes from a spell of seven months. Looked close to a win before that break, finishing off with a minor placing over 1000m at Wyong. Rates highly on best form and a bright return wouldn't surprise.
