POWER BEAU (7) came home strongly last start to finish second, beaten half a length, over 1200m at Newcastle. Commendable record at this trip with a win and two minor placings and is expected to be in the finish. GIVING DELIGHT (9) missed the placings two starts back then ran a better race when he made late ground and finished 3.5 lengths away in fifth last time out over 1200m at Newcastle. Beautifully placed and is sure to play a major role. KATTEGAT (2) has not won for a long while. Last raced on April 11 when beaten 4 lengths into sixth at Orange over 1000m. Won't find this as tough so he is sure to be prominent. THE DRAMATIST (1) was unplaced two runs back when fresh from a spell then again missed the frame last start over 1280m at Muswellbrook, beaten 2.5 lengths into sixth. Better than recent efforts suggest.
