WITHANIA (12) is yet to break through in nine runs. Finished eighth at her last appearance over 1400m at Gulgong on June 8. This looks a nice race so expect her to be right in the finish. HARDHEAD (2) hit the frame two starts ago at Inverell but ran below par last time when tenth and beaten 11 lengths over 1600m at Coonamble. Has the talent to put the recent run behind him. MAJOR LIGHTNING (3) made considerable ground in the run home to finish second last start over 1280m at Muswellbrook. Likely to feature. SPRADAX (10) finished fourth two runs back then did well last start but found one better over 1200m at Coonamble, beaten only 0.6 lengths. Looks to be in the right race so expect another big run.
