BLACK ADAM (1) did little and finished 7 lengths from the winner in tenth over 1400m at Wangaratta last start after being in contention on the turn, a less impressive effort than his sixth at Wangaratta the run before. Faces an easier assignment so he is a major player. TEAM AMERICA (9) came from well back on cornering and hit the line strongly to score over 1209m at Echuca last time out. Has a win and one placings at this journey from four starts. Best form puts him right in this. IMPENDING LOVE (12) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1000m at Albury, beaten 1.4 lengths into fifth. No surprise to see her in contention.
