THE PUNK ROCKER (6) missed the frame on debut then progressed nicely at his second outing, finishing 3 lengths from the winner in second after doing his best work late at the end of 1600m at Strathalbyn. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. SO GRAND (14) was ridden quietly then made a little ground and finished 4.5 lengths away in seventh last time out over 1600m at Swan Hill three-and-a-half weeks ago. Tackles a longer journey this time. Will find this assignment a little tougher but should be in the finish. ALWAYS BOLD (1) missed the placings two runs back then did well last start but found one better over 2000m at Penola, beaten only 1.4 lengths after being in contention on the bend. Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is one of the key runners. ESTEFAN (7) finished third last start over 1600m at Balaklava, beaten 3.5 lengths. Placed to advantage and can run a bold race.
