SHE'S A CON (4) showed early speed from an outside draw and held a forward position before fading to finish 13th, beaten 7 lengths, last start over 2000m at Warrnambool. Solid top-three claims. AHVEJAY (8) produced a better run last start, beaten 2 lengths into fifth over 1400m at Penola. Best efforts measure up so worth another chance.
