Looks well placed so expect a better run this time. MERCHANT REIGN (7) failed to run a strong 1300m last start after a close third over 1209m at Sapphire Coast the run prior. Appeals back in trip this time so can atone. ARABIAN SOO (4) finished 3.5 lengths away in fourth last time out over 1007m at Sapphire Coast after being in contention on the bend two weeks ago. Tackles a longer journey this time. Can play a big role. SASSEN (12) is back at the races for the first time since February 13. Scored over 1000m at Sapphire Coast at the start of last prep. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race.
