METRICAL (9) did a good job last start to finish second at Morphettville over 1200m, beaten one length. Should be at his peak now. Sound record at this distance with two wins and five minor placings from nine runs and is right in this. DELIGHTFUL SHECKY (4) did little and finished 2.5 lengths from the winner in sixth over 1250m at this track last start after being in the firing line on the bend, a less impressive effort than his fourth at Morphettville the run before. This doesn't look as hard so he is one of the main contenders. EXTRA HOT (13) has scored at her last two starts, most recently by a nose over 1200m at Murray Bridge. That continued the very strong form this campaign, with two wins from three runs. Should be in the finish. THREE RINGS (7) has been in the market at his last couple of runs but failed to threaten, the latest effort a modest fifth at Morphettville over 1200m. Well-placed and can sneak into the finish.
