CENTRAL BANK (1) led and just failed to hang on last start over 1000m at Bendigo when well in the market to make it four minor placings from five runs this preparation. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. Will give a great sight. YANKEE MISS (7) is a three-start maiden who resumed from a spell last start and was beaten 1.5 lengths when fourth over 1000m at Bendigo. Definite top-three hope with plenty of improvement to come. STAHNADO (5) showed good early speed and raced on the pace when first-up after a spell last start before fading to finish fourth, beaten 4.5 lengths, over 1000m at Pakenham. Has ability and a bold showing is expected.
