DECIDUOUS (2) showed good early muster and fought on to finish second last start over 1600m at Rockhampton. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot salute. ACCLIMATISE (5) showed good early dash last start and held on well to finish 2.25 lengths back in third over 1609m at Townsville. Meeting a deeper field this time but he has the ability to mix it with them. CABALO ESCURO (3) worked through the line well to finish 0.7 lengths away in second last start over 1560m at this track. First try at this trip but should cope nicely. MEDAL (6) produced a better run last start, beaten 2.75 lengths into fourth over 1609m at Townsville. Best efforts measure up so worth another chance.
