Likely improver with strong prospects. LUCKY DUCK (1) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when she was always well out of her ground over 1200m at Echuca, beaten 8 lengths into 13th. Finds a suitable assignment and can turn things around. MARILYN'S EDGE (8) did little and finished 4.5 lengths from the winner in eighth over 1400m at Flemington last start after being in contention on the bend, a less impressive effort than her fourth at Echuca the run before. This is a nice drop in grade so she is likely to play a big role. ASMITA (3) returned from a break last start and sat on the speed before lifting to score over 1000m at Terang by 1.5 lengths. Can figure in the finish again.
