Has the talent to take this out. PROVEN SOUL (4) is a maiden galloper who finished in the placings over 1212m at Kyneton before going for a break five months ago. Fitter for two trials, placing most recently. Should be competitive. VESCOVI (6) finished second last start at the first run back from a spell over 1009m at Yarra Valley, beaten 1.75 lengths. Should take a lot from that hit-out. In the right race and is one of the better hopes.
