TURNING CIRCLE (12) finished third, beaten 2.5 lengths, when resuming from a spell last start over 1200m at Gosford after she worked home well. Nicely placed to play a major role. CATHEDRAL COVE (1) has been racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid second at Goulburn over 1300m. Takes on a tougher assignment this time but shapes as one to consider. BOBS BACK (3) was beaten 3.5 lengths into fourth in a 1400m contest at this track three-and-a-half weeks ago. Has his share of ability and is a top-three prospect.
