TRUE AMOR (6) ran a bold race over this journey last time, leading for much of the way before fading out of it late to finish 1.2 lengths away in fourth at Warwick Farm. Should be tough to rein in. INVADE AND CONQUER (2) raced on the speed last start and battled on well but found one better over 1400m at this track. Has been in sound form this prep with a win and two minor placings from six outings. Expected to be in the finish. HOT BANDIT (1) started at $6.50 last time and ran below expectations, finishing fifth and beaten 3 lengths at Scone over 1400m after being in the firing line on the bend. Perfectly placed and is sure to prove tough to beat. CALYX ROSE (9) is back from a spell after closing last campaign with a couple of wins, the latest over 1500m at Newcastle on February 1. One of the contenders.
