READY FOR THE TRIP (1) is a maiden with two minor placings to his name. Could not improve on that record when resuming last start, winding up in sixth over 1200m at this track. Placed at his only other second up appearance. Settles back early but winds up late. Will be tough to stop. BOROGORU (2) again failed to feature last start, finishing sixth and beaten 3.5 lengths over 1400m at Gold Coast. Among the chances on best figures. SLUGWORTH (5) showed good early speed and raced on the pace when first-up after a spell last start before fading to finish fourth, beaten 8 lengths, over 1200m at Toowoomba. Sure to give a sight.
