SERENE NIC (2) turned in a strong performance first-up when in the money at Gosford but disappointed last time when seventh, beaten 4.5 lengths, at Warwick Farm over 1300m. Won't find this as tough so she is set to turn things around. SUPER NUI (3) was in a different class last time with a dominant all-the-way win by 8 lengths at Wyong over 1350m. Louise Day who has two wins when partnering stays on. Best form puts her right in this. CELTIC SIN (6) was an impressive maiden winner last time out, scoring by 2.75 lengths over 1350m at Wyong. Winning rider Andrew Adkins stays aboard and she is a solid top-three hope. MAGICON (1) improved sharply last time out to score by 1.2 lengths over 1850m at Newcastle five weeks ago. Looks well placed so expect another big run.
