Well-placed and is going to prove tough to run down. SMOTHER (2) returns after five months in the paddock. Closed the last campaign with a fourth over 1300m at Warwick Farm. Ran tenth in a recent trial at Newcastle. Nicely placed and expected to go well. QUEEN'S RHAPSODY (12) is a maiden galloper who resumes after finishing in the money over 1200m at Randwick four-and-a-half months ago. Looks to be in good order following a recent trial win. Sure to be competitive. DONWON (1) has been in the money four times including first-up last start on April 21 when second over 1100m at Canterbury. Goes well here with two top-three finishes to his credit. Among the fringe hopes.
