INSTEAD (8) closed off strongly last start to get up for second, beaten 1.2 lengths, over 1700m at Wellington. Has good early toe so she should be handy in the run. Will prove tough to beat. READY FOR LIFT OFF (14) started at $7.50 last time and ran below expectations, finishing fifth and beaten 4.5 lengths at Mudgee over 2000m. Likely improver with strong prospects. EVERLASTING KISS (3) finished fourth last start over 2100m at Wyong after racing on the pace for much of the way. Cannot be underestimated.
