RAINBOW LASS (10) progressed nicely last time out to finish just a head from the winner in second over 1000m at Ballina. Looks well placed so expect another big run. MARS LANDING (14) finished out of the money on debut two starts back then was beaten 3.5 lengths when fourth in a 1200m contest at Port Macquarie three-and-a-half weeks ago. Finds a nice race and can play a significant role. SPOILER (11) didn't make an impact at her last run before going for a spell on 10/12/2024, finishing seventh and beaten 8 lengths over 1000m at Ballina. Among the better hopes. HE'S POPLAR (2) was out of the money when resuming from a spell last start over 1115m at this track, beaten 3 lengths. Fitter so can feature in the finish.
