SHAMADAN (3) finished out of the money but was not too far away when resuming last start over 1200m at Doomben. Usually performs well with that run under her belt. This is far easier. Leading contender. TALANA (1) did a good job last time, finishing in the money when third over 1200m at Port Macquarie. Should park just off the speed. Best form puts him right in this. ICON OF STYLE (10) finished fifth over 1300m at Ballina when resuming last start, beaten only 0.9 lengths after being in contention on the bend. Nicely placed to take this out. NORTHERN BOOGIE (16) drifted back and never threatened when eighth last start over 1200m at Port Macquarie. Best figures measure up nicely. Solid top-three prospects.
