WATERMELON (4) was an impressive winner last time over 1900m at this track, scoring by 5 lengths. Up in the weights but combines again with Adin Thompson and looks sure to measure up. SMOKIN MATCH (7) built on a nice second two starts back at this track with success over 1890m at Toowoomba a week ago, getting home by a head. Finds a tougher race but a big run is on the cards. KAREEM (2) is building towards a win with placings at his last two runs, the latest effort a second over 1540m at this track when beaten 1.5 lengths. Leading player again. PRINCETON AWARD (6) doesn't win very often but ran a strong race last time out over 2150m at Sunshine Coast Poly, finishing second and beaten a nose. Nicely placed to feature in the finish.
