SPANISH KAT (5) missed the placings two runs back then didn't feature last start when 21 lengths away in ninth over 1937m at this track. Nicely placed to take this out. SCURGEOFTHEWEST (1) used the inside draw to advantage last start, sitting on the pace and going on to score over 1420m at this track last time out. In great form and is well-placed to feature again. WASN'T ME (2) recorded a strong on-pace win here last time by a head over 1618m. One of the main contenders. KERMIT'S LUCK (4) hasn't been able to break through for an extended period, the latest effort a sixth over 1220m at this track. Likely improver with strong prospects.
