MORGANITE (9) started at $4.20 last time and ran below expectations, finishing fifth and beaten 7 lengths at Toowoomba over 1000m. Hard to beat in this suitable race. BOOMI'S BUDDY (1) was in the firing line on the bend and finished second last start at the first run back from a spell over 1200m at Kilcoy, beaten one length. Will benefit from that outing.
