COOL ARCHIE (1) broke his maiden last start over 1200m at Doomben when resuming, scoring by 1.3 lengths. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. Martin Harley was in the saddle on that occasion and retains the mount. Progressing well so worth following up. TORQUE TO BE SURE (2) is back after a break of four months. Went close to a maiden win before the layoff, finishing second at his latest appearance over 1100m at Sunshine Coast. Has trialled well leading into this. Rates highly on best figures and should be right in this. DARN HOT LADY (7) was in a different class last time with a dominant all-the-way win by 2 lengths at Sunshine Coast Poly over 1000m. Takes on tougher opposition this time but must be respected.
