Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. CHO OYU (5) caught the eye last start over 1350m at Doomben, coming from the tail and running on strongly to score by a head. Has been in sound form this prep with a win and a placing from three starts. Sure to run well. AKROTIRI (1) was narrowly beaten at his latest appearance at this track over 2206m five months ago. Has found the right race and is worth including. SMART AS SMART (7) continued the good recent form when he finished just 2.5 lengths away in third last time out over 1660m at Doomben. Drawn out but does go back and work into his races. Can run on into the finish.
