OVERPASS (1) ran a bold race over this journey last time, leading for much of the way before fading out of it late to finish 1.5 lengths away in fifth in The Quokka at Ascot. Takes on tougher opposition this time but should measure up. SUNSHINE IN PARIS (12) found a couple better last start in the G1 All Aged Stakes at Randwick over 1400m after she was in contention on the corner. Has a strong record at this trip, scoring five times from 10 starts. Blinkers added so the stable might have her peaking today. BENEDETTA (14) disappointed last time when fifth over 1400m in the G1 William Reid Stakes at Moonee Valley after a close second in the G1 William Reid Stakes at Moonee Valley the run prior. Freshened up so can do much better. SCHWARZ (2) showed good early dash and led throughout to score by one length last time out over 1200m in the G1 William Reid Stakes at Moonee Valley. Sure to be thereabouts.
