SO SUAVE (5) finished sixth two runs back then did well last start but found one better over 2000m at Kembla Grange, beaten only one length after being in contention on the bend. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. STATE OF AFFAIRS (6) just missed last time when a nose away in second at Gold Coast over 2228m. Genuine contender. PREFER TO DANCE (3) went forward and gave a great sight before finishing third last time out over 2228m at Gold Coast. Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is one of the chief contenders. ORMOND ROAD (2) ran a better race last start, finishing 2 lengths away in fourth over 1800m at Sunshine Coast. Well placed and can figure in the finish this time.
