STRIKING FELLA (1) produced a reasonable effort when second last start over 1925m at Geraldton, beaten 1.75 lengths. That followed a win at Pingrup the start prior. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time. UNI QUEEN (4) drifted well back and failed to finish it off last start when 11th, beaten 8 lengths, over 1600m at Ascot. Finds a more suitable contest and can take this out. FORBIDDEN APPLE (7) finished out of the money two starts back then she was always well out of her ground and was beaten 9 lengths when tenth in a 1400m contest at Geraldton two weeks ago. Won't find this as tough so she is a major player. KENTUCKY BLUE (3) was in the firing line on the bend and finished second last time over 1618m at Geraldton, beaten 0.6 lengths. Facing a tougher assignment but he is good enough to make a big impact.
